Reading the site

We do not use advertising trackers, analytics scripts or social media widgets. Our servers and our network provider (Cloudflare) keep standard access logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting; we keep them for up to 30 days.

The Where to shoot tool remembers the last ZIP code you searched in your own browser (local storage). It may suggest a ZIP code based on your IP address using an offline database; that lookup is not stored.

Email subscriptions

If you subscribe we store your email address, the topics and frequency you picked, an optional state, and when you confirmed. We use it only to send the email you asked for. Mail is delivered through our email provider. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link; after you unsubscribe we keep only the record that you did, so we do not mail you again.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run the site and send email, or when the law requires it.
